孔梁巧玲傑出人文學者

百年港大，一代又一代的名字綻發不同的光華。從一九一一年到今天，朱光潛、許地山、陳寅恪、張愛玲、羅香林、饒宗頤… 都是港大人文精神的火炬。

香港大學於二零零五年年底創立「港大人文基金」，旨在推動文化藝術的教學和研究，設立教授席及獎學金，舉辦公開講座和論壇，重拾歷史足印，再啟人文精神。

二零零八年，港大藉「孔慶熒及梁巧玲慈善基金」之慷慨捐贈，成立「孔梁巧玲傑出人文學者」計劃，旨在支持傑出人文學者駐校教學、研究和創作，推動大學的人文發展。

大學希望培育人才也潤澤城市生活，建立人文思想的平台，使香港成為中西文化聚光之處。

Hung Leung Hau Ling Distinguished Fellow in Humanities

The University of Hong Kong (HKU) has been the cradle of some of the greatest creative and artistic minds in the region. With its deep-rooted tradition in liberal arts education with an international perspective, HKU has helped to shape the colourful cultural landscape of Hong Kong today.

The "HKU Culture & Humanities Fund" was established in 2005 to support initiatives from heritage projects and research, to scholarships and professorships, as well as community and school programmes.

The "Hung Leung Hau Ling Distinguished Fellow in Humanities" scheme was inaugurated in 2008, which was made possible through the generous support of the Hung Hing Ying and Leung Hau Ling Charitable Foundation. This scheme will host visiting scholars renowned in their respective fields with the objective of enhancing and enriching humanities studies at the University which, in turn, contributes to the art and humanities culture of Hong Kong.
